With a midday neap low tide and onshore winds that were forecast not to fill in properly until mid-afternoon I suspected that neither Shoreham nor Worthing would be all that good today so I made the trip to Pagham instead for a change of scenery and to meet up with Rod. Glad I did. Such different conditions to the usual local stuff...slightly cross-off, no shorebreakchoplumpcrap at all and plenty of very nice clean dtl waist highers! I started off on the big board but soon had to come in to change down to the waveboard as the wind filled in. It really honked as a shower passed over but then veered and lulled once the rain had cleared which prompted most people to pack up and leave. I was certain the wind would return though so I changed up to the big board and got back out there. And indeed it wasn't long before I was fully stacked again, allowing a good blast for the last hour until bad-light stopped play.

A decent dtl waveriding session - well worth the drive. I should really make the trip to Pagham more often since it's only an hour away and conditions today were very much better than the standard mid-tide Shoreham stuff.
